To keep gold- and silver-plated jewellery looking its best, remove it before swimming, exercising or sleeping, and put it on after applying perfumes and moisturisers.

Clean it gently by wiping with a microfiber cloth after every wear, and store pieces separately in air-tight pouches or a lined jewellery box.
